The Business Office provides support for property management in collaboration with L'Heureux Page Werner, PC Architects, Catholic Mutual Group, and local engineering firms, assisting the parishes and mission parishes in being good stewards of the land and buildings in their care.

Support & Services Provided
The services provided to the parishes and missions of the Diocese include, but are not limited to:
- Liability Insurance: Through the diocese, Catholic Mutual Group provides liability insurance on all properties owned by the Bishop on behalf of the parishes and mission parishes.
- Structural & Engineering Support: The diocese offers advice and support with local, county, state, and federal requirements, as well as offering engineering support for industrial hygiene, roofing, structural concerns, and geotechnical challenges.
- New Construction: Support and assistance in the development and implementation of new building projects.
- Tax Exemptions: Oversees property tax exemptions and payments for all properties owned by the Bishop.
- Lease Agreements: Negotiates, executes, and oversees farm lands, leases, gas and oil, and mineral lease agreements on behalf of the Bishop and parishes.
- Buying & Selling Property: Assists with requests and processing procedures for the proper acquisition or alienation of property in accordance with civil law, canon law, and diocesan policy.
- Vehicle Registration: Oversees all diocesan vehicle registrations and licensing for the Bishop and parishes throughout the diocese.
Legal Services
The diocese provides legal advice and representation in collaboration with the diocesan attorney on behalf of the Bishop, parishes, and other diocesan entities. Services include:
- Reviewing and writing contracts and agreements to ensure diocesan and parish rights are secured and liability resides with the responsible party.
- Handling property listing agreements, buy-sell agreements, deed transfers, recordings, and disputes in accordance with state and federal laws.
- Reviewing property lease and rental agreements to ensure rights are protected and property liability insurance requirements are met.
- Advising on major gifts and estates to ensure proper transfer of property and land based on donor intent.
- Filing applications for property tax exemptions for not-for-profit organizations.
- Processing requests for easements and other property use agreements.
