What is the ACA?

The Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) is how Catholics across Eastern Montana come together to support needs and ministries that extend far beyond what any one parish can accomplish alone.

Through your generosity, we are able to fund vital diocesan programs, support our active clergy, form future priests, and sustain the administrative infrastructure that keeps our local churches thriving.

The ACA directly impacts your local community. Funds raised through the Appeal provide parishes with essential resources, including HR support, property and facility management, canonical guidance, and youth ministry frameworks. By supporting the Diocese, you are ensuring your parish has the strong foundation it needs to serve.

  • Seminarian Formation & Vocations One of the most critical ministries supported through the ACA is the education and formation of our future priests. Your gift directly funds seminarian tuition, ensuring strong pastoral leadership for generations to come.
  • Clergy Care & Support Providing ongoing formation, health resources, and retirement support for our active and retired priests.
  • Faith Formation & Youth Ministry Supporting programs like St. Thomas Camp, Catholic Schools, and parish religious education curriculums.
  • Rural Parishes & Missions Subsidizing the operational needs of our most remote Catholic communities across Eastern Montana.
