Public Statement re Fr. Garrett Nelson
The Diocese has released a public statement regarding Fr. Garrett Nelson, who has been on administrative leave since July of 2025. Fr. Nelson recently submitted a petition to be dispensed from the rights and obligations of the clerical state. As this process continues, he remains prohibited from exercising any public or private priestly ministries.
Episcopal Statement Regarding the Fire at Our Lady of Lourdes Church
Bishop Jeffrey Fleming has issued a statement regarding the tragic fire that destroyed Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Poplar, Montana early this morning. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The Diocese asks for prayers for the pastor and the entire parish community during this difficult time.

Episcopal Statement Regarding the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer
Bishop Fleming has issued an official statement and accompanying decree regarding the Congregation of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer (aka "Transalpine Redemptorists"). Effective immediately, faculties and permission to minister in this diocese have been revoked for specific members listed in the decree.
